DAY ONE
(Saturday Arrival)
One Night Stay in São Vicente
• Guests arrive on the island of São Vicente in Midelo. You will be greeted at the airport by in-country Ambassador Alzerina Gomes
• VIP transfer from the airport to the Mindelo Hotel
• Check in, relax, and settle
• Evening welcome dinner with Cape Verdean cuisine, sunset views, and live local music
DAY TWO
(Sunday: Ferry to São Antão)
Scenic Journey to Santo Antão
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• 8:30 AM ferry to Santo Antão
• Scenic 60-minute ride in passenger van to the RM Green Hotel retreat location
• Guests welcomed with refreshing drinks and music
• Welcome lunch
• Afternoon: Guests may begin individual Reiki sessions with Nancy
• Evening: Dinner & orientation; introductions and retreat schedule overview
DAY THREE
(Monday in São Antão)
Volcano Picnic
• Sleep in and enjoy a leisurely morning
• Breakfast
• Morning and early afternoon: free time for reflection, journaling, or relaxation at the retreat
• Volcano picnic excursion in the afternoon with breathtaking views (dormant volcano)
• Evening: Letter-writing ceremony to ancestors—writing down names, gratitude, and requests for guidance
• Dinner together at the retreat
DAY FOUR
(Tuesday in São Antão)
Ancestral Celebration
• Morning yoga and meditation, focusing on setting intentions and preparing to honor our ancestors
• Breakfast
• Guests dress and proceed to the ocean for a ceremony honoring our ancestors, incorporating the notes written the night before
• Evening: Dinner prepared by Arlene, celebrating the purpose and spiritual heart of the retreat
DAY FIVE
(Wednesday: Leave São Antão)
Beachfront Hotel in Mindelo, São Vicente
• Breakfast, check out of the RM Green Hotel, guests will take van to the ferry for trip back to Mindelo, São Vicente
• In Mindelo, we will check into a beachfront hotel for the next two nights
• Daytime activities: explore Mindelo, shop for souvenirs, and learn about the town’s history
• Optional: swim with the turtles or other local experiences
• Evening: Drinks at Sunset Bar, followed by dinner at the hotel
DAY SIX
(Thursday in Mindelo)
Bahia Beach Experience
• Breakfast
• Excursion to Bahia Beach
• Lunch with a local chef, immersive culinary experience
• Afternoon beach leisure or optional wellness activities
• Evening: return to hotel for relaxation and/or group gathering
DAY SEVEN
(Friday: Depart Mindelo)
Embark for Home
• Breakfast
• Last-minute shopping or beach strolls.
• VIP transfers to the airport for departure
